'Drift' belongs to my Beginning series, a body of work that explores moments of emergence, transformation, and the subtle poetry found in nature’s rhythms. In this painting, textured layers of acrylic, inks, and pigment blocks rise and dissolve across a muted ground, creating forms that feel suspended between solidity and dissolution.

The earthy, metallic tones suggest fragments of landscape or memory slowly carried away, while the open space surrounding them allows a sense of breath, pause, and stillness. For me, this piece reflects the beauty of letting go—of allowing things to shift and settle into new forms.

Through its play of surface and depth, 'Drift' holds both movement and calm, echoing the essence of the Beginning series: the quiet power of transitions and the invitation to see in-between spaces not as endings, but as starting points.
