This painting is really about emotion—those intense, sometimes tangled feelings we all go through. I worked with acrylics and ink to build up layers, letting the textures and colors speak for themselves. The palette turned out fiery and warm, almost like something still smoldering… it made me think of the last light before sunset, or a feeling that just won’t fade. I like that it holds a kind of energy that shifts the mood of a room—warmth, depth, and maybe a little mystery too. It’s one of those pieces that came from a very real place. I hope that comes through when you see it.
