A Year of Growth and Exploration
In 2024, my work evolved through two distinct yet interconnected series—Elements and Beginning (this one not yet finished) —each reflecting a different facet of transformation, emotion, and connection to nature. All pieces were painted intuitively.
Elements: Capturing the Energy of Nature
Elements is a series deeply rooted in the forces that shape the natural world. With a focus on light, growth, depth, and energy, these paintings explore the raw yet harmonious rhythms found in nature. Each painting involved a lot of play between different materials, colours and techniques. This series invites the viewer into a world of motion and stillness, where nature’s quiet power is captured through abstract expression.
Beginning: A Journey into Renewal
Beginning represents a reflection of new cycles, fresh starts, and the quiet beauty of emergence. The colours are softer, yet still rich with depth, symbolizing the delicate yet powerful process of transformation. What I enjoyed most in this series' exploration was the interplay between textured surface and soft blending. Each piece the feeling of stepping into the unknown, embracing change, and allowing the journey to unfold naturally.
